Samsung is tipped to launch three new foldable display smartphones this year. The list includes the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold Lite and the Galaxy Z Flip 2, which is likely to be called the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Now, a new report gives us the very first peek at the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
As per a report by Let Go Digital (via GizChina), the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be a mix of the Galaxy Z Flip that was launched last year and the Galaxy S21 series that will be launched later this month both in terms of the design and the colors.
The images shared by the publication show that the phone will be available in Lilac colour variant with copper edges. It will come with a vertically stacked rear camera setup that is housed inside a copper-esque camera module. There is a LED flash on-board but that is placed adjacent to the rear camera module. Adjacent to the camera module is a smaller screen, almost the height of the camera module, that shows various details such as the time, emails, messages and calls among other things
On the front, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is likely to come with a punch-hole display that is placed in the middle of the screen on the top. The images show the phone will come with extremely narrow bezel on all sides and volume rockers on the right.
Meanwhile, older reports have detailed specifications that the phone is likely to come with. Vietnamese leaker Chunvn88 says that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will come with a 6.9-inch foldable display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is likely to come with a 3,900mAh battery with a real battery capacity ranging between 3,700mAh to 3,800mAh.
Besides this, nothing more is known about the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 3 at this point. We’ll update you as soon we have more details.
